Moab - Wall Street
Arrived after another morning of driving. Ilka lead a spicy slab, then I went for “Brown Banana”, a 5.9 sport route. It was an really adventurous start since I directly broke the start crimp off. With the second go, I clipped the first bolt, but stepped on the second bolt because I did not find any footholds for my left foot. After clipping the second bolt, I started to become more comfortable on the sandstone and climbed to the top.
Ilka then toproped the route finding a slightly different beta at the 2nd bolt crux, so I had to try once more and it actually worked out for the red point ascent.
